Terminally-ill cancer patient Charlene Andrews, of Salem, Oregon, talks with Barbara Coombs Lee, the chief petitioner for Oregon's Death With Dignity Act, at a news conference in Portland, Oregon after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the Oregon physician-assisted suicide law on January 17, 2005. Andrews has terminal breast cancer. Oregon is the only state law in the nation allowing physician-assisted suicide.
